I had an Oldsquaw yesterday morning (Sunday, 5/4) along the shoreline about 1/4 mile north (east?) of the end of the road, along the trail along the bay. 

Drive past the Doubletree Inn and all the way out to the end. Walk to the right. The bird was quite close to shore as we walked along about 10:15 am, but wasn't visible when we returned a half hour later.
