Hi E.B. Birders,

Today (Sunday, 31Jan 2010) at Valle Vista Staging Area in Moraga, there was a white morph White-throated Sparrow right next to the southwest end of the main bridge, foraging under the vegetation, and preening in the afternoon sun.? 

Earlier, I recorded California Thrashers singing simultaneously, with Varied Thrush trilling in the background:

One Varied Thrush was high in a leafless tree near the bridge for over five minutes, not moving.?
