This afternoon (Wed, Nov 25) at about 3:30 pm, at San Pablo Bay
Regional Shoreline in Pinole, a male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was
flycatching on the hill at the east end of the park.

A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher continues to hang out and is seen about 1 in
5 visits to the park. We usually hear it before we see it.

Directions to San Pablo Bay RS: Exit I-80 at Appian Way in Pinole
and head north toward the Bay. At the bottom of the hill, turn left
on San Pablo Ave. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right on Pinole
Shores Drive. At the end of Pinole Shores Drive is a small parking
    lot for the Shoreline.

From the parking lot, take the paved trail to the right (east) past
the houses and down a hill, then up another hill. The Mountain
Bluebird was on the fences and ground around the top of the hill,
near the area with the bench and garbage can. The Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher is usually somewhere in the area near the "creek" between
    the 2 hills.

    Good birding,
