Hi all,

A pair of HOODED MERGANSERS was at the?Pleasanton Freshwater Detention Ponds today (corner of Valley Ave. and Laguna Creek Ln).?They were in the pond on the SW corner, across Laguna Ln. from the main ponds. Also of interest was the number of WILSON'S SNIPE, which has?increased significantly over the past week.?Today I?counted?17, although I've have counts of as many as 37 over the past two winters.??
