[EBB Sightings] male Wood Ducks at Niles staging

This afternoon saw 2 male Wood Ducks at the Niles staging area along  
Alameda Creek, hanging out with the Mallards. I searched for female  
Wood Ducks but couldn't find any. Wonder if I'll see Mallard/Wood  
Duck hybrids here later this summer?

Other birds in the area were 2 Acorn Woodpeckers, 1 Western Kingbird,  
a flock of Cedar Waxwings, and 1 Spotted Sandpiper in full spotted  
glory.
