    Shorebirds this afternoon (Tues, May 5) at San Pablo Bay Regional 
    Shoreline included 15 RUDDY TURNSTONES, 1 spotty Spotted Sandpiper, 3 
    Black Oystercatchers, and 1 Semipalmated Plover.
    
    Songbird migrants were represented by about 60 Cedar Waxwings and 1 
    Western Kingbird.
    
    Babies out and about included a peeping Song Sparrow and a scaly Mourning Dove.
    
    Parking for San Pablo Bay RS is at the end of Pinole Shores Drive off 
    of San Pablo Ave in Pinole.  The shorebirds were seen along the rocky 
    shoreline below the trail to the right (east) of the parking lot.
