Talked to Michele Harrison this morning. She found a Red Necked Phalarope in
mating plumage at Martin Luther King Shoreline yesterday 4/30 during the
    monthly GGAS census.

I checked and it was still there at 12:30 today 5/1.

There are three seasonal ponds at the south end of the mitigation marsh that
forms the south side of the park. The phalarope is in the easternmost pond
(Pond 3). This is the pond adjacent to the walkway along the canal.

Michele saw two phalaropes yesterday. I found only one today. Also two
    clutches of recently hatched avocets.
