This morning at the Winton Avenue entrance to the Hayward Shoreline we
saw 4 Horned Larks, so since Bob Power reported them on Tuesday
morning as well (thanks Bob!), it seems they are pretty reliable there
at the moment. We saw two pairs, very easy to find, and they were
foraging calmly, so we had great views.

We also saw 3 White-throated swifts mixed in with the usual flock of
Barn and Cliff swallows over the tall trees to the left of the channel
that runs from the parking lot to the bay.

And of course there were tons of finches and Willets, as well as a few
Whimbrel and a Long-billled Curlew, Forster's Terns, etc....

    Good birding!

    Robert
