At 11:20 this morning I watched, from the viewing tower at the Interpretive Center at the Hayward Shoreline, a White-faced Ibis land in the City Ponds to the north.
I also saw the sign at the parking lot at the west end of Winton Ave in Hayward telling of the upcoming meeting on May 22 to discuss the four new 199-foot transmission towers that some power company wants to built at the south edge of the parking lot.
