    Seeing Hugh Harvey's post from Briones reminded me that we also had a Lazuli Bunting yesterday on the Black Point Trail, a short distance above the Mitchell Canyon trail.  Mitchell Canyon is in Mt. Diablo State Park in Contra Costa County.
    
    For those wondering about the early Dusky Flycatcher, I got some photos which I will post as soon as I have time.  We also heard the characteristic soft "whit" call.
