Is it my imagination or have Cackling Geese become more common in the
East Bay? Perhaps we're paying more attention now that it's a real
    species.

This morning Corinne Greenberg and I walked the 'Berkeley Meadow' (next
to Berkeley Marina and Cesar Chavez Park).

There was one Cackling Goose in with a small group of Canada Geese
around the pond at the SW corner of the Berkeley Meadow. No neck ring.

Also seen: An Orange-crowned Warbler, 3 WT Kites (a pair + a subadult),
2 Red-tails acting like a pair, perched side by side and interacting,
    and an albino House Finch.
