[EBB Sightings] Common Merganser at Lake Merritt

A male in full breeding plumage, straight out of Sibley, was swimming 
around the boathouse today. Dick Bailey the lakekeeper e-mailed me about 
him in the morning, and he was still there late this afternoon....

Also by the nature center - the female Redhead... and the Ring-necked 
Duck... and the Tufted Duck that's been hanging out near El 
Embarcadero... AND the hybrid merganser/goldeneye, booking along past 
the islands like he was late for a hot date.
