[EBB Sightings] Nutmeg Mannakins

Just before noon I walked the creek behind the Union
City city offices off Royal Ann at Alvarado Niles
Blvd. There were 4 Nutmeg Mannakins (2 adults & 2
juveniles) foraging w/ White-crowned Sparrows just
behind the ball fields. What is the status of this
species? Escapees? Introduced? With the presence of
juveniles is there a possibility of breeding?
