    Joe,
    
    Small feral populations consisting of escapees and their descendants 
    breed in a number of areas in CA, including the South Bay, though I 
    don't recall seeing any previous reports from Alameda County.  They are 
    not "countable" under ABA listing rules if you are concerned with such 
    things.
