[EBB Sightings] Pt Emery Sufbirds

At about 6 PM today I found the high tide roost reported earlier by
Emilie Strauss, on the rip-rap perhaps 100 yds south of Pt Emery. I
counted 82 Surfbirds. Many Sanderling, Western Sandpiper and Dunlin in
that roost, along with Black Turnstone, M Godwit, Willet & BB Plover.

There were a good number of G Scaup in the area, and all were female
.
I wonder if the males move on first.
