Scattered cumulus, wind 26010G15, Temp 57F-65F. Did watch 10:30-2:30.

Was joined by a group of 9 birders led by Marilyn Trabert from 10:30 to
noon. It was a bit cold and windy but folks toughed it out, and we saw a lot
of hawks. Was joined by Golden Gate Raptor Observatory volunteer Leslie Wead
1:30-2:30. We divided the site into two sectors and thus greatly improved
    the quality of the census.

The best bird of the day was a Peregrine that passed directly overhead about
1 pm. It was spectacular. As the day went on and thermal activity increased,
there were many kettles of 5-10 Red Tails.

If you are interested in participating in the census, please contact me at
    harvmon at comcast.net. Here are the dates: 4/12, 4/13, 4/15, 4/16, 4/17, 4/18,
    4/19, 4/20, 4/23, 4/24. Will be doing the census from 11--3. Sunday 4/15 is
intended as a hawk-watch day for EBB folks.
