I hope someone can tell me what are the smallish orange butterflies 
currently flying through Claremont Canyon (Oakland/Berkeley border) and 
the hill immediately to the south.  Today I saw hundreds; but none 
settled anywhere, so I wasn't able to get my binoculars on them.  
Comments appreciated - please send to me personally so as not to burden 
the list with off-topic messages.  Thanks.
