In north Orinda yesterday (Friday 3/2/07) about 6 PM we spotted what  
appeared to be a lone osprey flying from SE to NW headed toward the general  
direction of San Pablo Reservoir.  White underbelly, large angular form,  steady 
consistent wingbeats.
Today, a pair of red shouldered hawks spotted down near the Orinda Country  
Club....
