    On Friday I viewed the Canadian Rocky Mountain Variant Slate-Colored Junco
    in Alamden Valley of San Jose.
    See Sibley -Guide to Birds page 501. 
    This bird has been report on SSB for about three weeks.
    It is a handsome adult male Junco. The black cap against the grey body is
    striking.
