    thanks  Rusty  for calling my attention to this characteristic; usually I'm
    trying to distinguish if I'm HEARING Peregrines or Prairies - I think I'm
    hearing Peregrines, but it's been a while since I've heard Prairies...
    Anyway,  which  ever they are, they have been fly around  above Concord and
    Pleasant Hill during the day (close to Concord Naval weapons station , DVC,
    Markham Nature Park i.e. open space areas in the 'Valley"  still close to
    the mountain)- but  just can't SEE them!
