[EBB Sightings] MORE DEAD MURRES

Sunday at Doran Beach in Sonoma County (out of area, I know, but
relevant, I think) I found nearly a dozen murre carcasses washed up on
the beach, some still attracting vultures.  I watched another bird just
off shore all afternoon, bobbing, floating but doing no swimming or
diving or head moving.

Alan Howe's reports of two dead murres this week in Richmond and in
Berkeley, may be part of the same die off I observed.  Has anyone seen
or heard reports of additional murre deaths along the northern
California coast this month?
