[EBB Sightings] Sandhill Cranes on Holland Tract

Hello E.B. Birders,

About thirty-eight Sandhill Cranes were in the fields
north of Holland Tract Road in East Contra Costa
County this afternoon.  Most were only a few hundred
yards away, in fields that had a bit of water and
green grass.

I've always found this is to be one of the best spots
in Contra Costa County to see good views of Sandhill
Cranes.  Thanks to Dorthy Furseth of Brentwood letting
me know they had returned.
