Although I do not bird Upper San Leandro Resevoir frequently, I was for
a number of year on the Xmas count team that covered the area. Russ
Wilson was the team leader for even more years than that. I have in my
files his count records for 1984 through 2003. In only one year were
American White Pelicans seen. That was in 2002, when the team recorded
4 individuals.
