[EBB Sightings] Black-chinned & Sage Sparrow & CA Thrasher @ Mt. Diablo

Thursday my birding group went to Mt. Diablo, starting at the South Gate around 8:00.

On our way up, before the main entrance, we heard and located a Black-Chinned Sparrow. It was at a right bend in the road and was in the ravine to the left.  I believe this is where you can walk out a trail from above and look down to the same area.  A little farther up on the road we had a singing Sage Sparrow, again on the left side of the road.  There were also several very visable, singing California Thrashers on the same area of the road.
