After a satisfying morning of birding at MLK Park, we were driving up =
35th Av. approaching Macarthur Blvd.  To the right a red-tailed hawk =
swooped down and took a pigeon from a fence.  It landed in the number =
one North-bound lane of 35th Av.  Cars screeching to stop, horns =
honking.  The hawk calmly dispatched its prey, looked at us, then flew =
off with lunch.  You just never know......
