As I was pulling great masses of overgrown weeds from my garden yesterday 
afternoon, I was serenaded by the high twittering of the first of the white 
throated swifts. What a welcome sight they were, against the blue.

BTW, if you are interested in seeing the proposed Sibley campground site 
prior to the EBRPD meeting on Tuesday, meet at the Sibley Regional Park 
entrance on Skyline at 1:00 pm tomorrow. Drive up via Snake out of 
Montclair, since the road is blocked to the west of Sibley.
