Thee is currently a  Great Blue Heron in the Richmond yacht harbor with a three or four inch long foreign object firmly attached to its lower beak. It has been seen for two or three weeks  along the shoreline  between the Trade Winds Sailing Club and Salute Restaurant.  What is the best way to assist this bird?
