[EBB Sightings] American Bittern @ Coyote Hills 11/18/09

Todau at the lunch hour, there was an AMERICAN BITTERN along the main entry road at Coyote Hills Regional Park. It was standing in front of the tules near the bend in the road just before the creek crossing between the Quarry Parking lot and the main entry kiosk. There were also two LOGGERHEAD SHRIKES in the same area.
  Not too far away, at Don Edwards NWR, I had a flyover FERRUGINOUS HAWK and a PEREGRINE FALCON was seen harrassing a Red-tail.
