[EBB Sightings] Winter Wrens Sequoia Arena

Hi all:

I took a walk around Sequoia Arena and the Chabot-side parking lot across the street.  Both the dense brambles in the first bowl as you enter the Sequoia area as well as the dense bramble on the south side of the Chabot-side parking area are excellent for Winter Wren.  This could be helpful if you're starting a big year tomorrow. Or a big day. Or if you like Winter Wrens. or birds. One Winter Wren popped out of the brambles in each location between 2 and 4 p.m.

Bird chatter is going to drop precipitously with the end of the big year(s). I hope many ebbsightings subscribers will join us on the 13th for the big year celebration.  For those participants who haven't checked in yet with Big Year totals, please zap bob at wingbeats.org, and copy me as well.
