    Birders,

Yesterday, Wed. Feb. 14, I saw the following notable birds around Livermore:

Eurasian Wigeon (male) at the Las Positas Golf Course, just E of the NE corner of t he parking lot at 7 am.
Eurasian Collared-Doves (2) at Murrieta's Well, 0.25 mi. N of Tesla on Mines Road at 8 am.
Blue-winged Teal (male) at Saddleback Pond, at Dalton and Ames St. at 10 am.
Long-billed Curlews (38) flying over Dagnino Road at May School Road, at 10:15 am.
Ferruginous Hawk on Laughlin Road, at the Brush Peak parking lot, at 10:30 am.

After 4.7 inches of rain, three of the Red-legged from mitigation ponds on Dagnino Road have water in them,
and Frick Lake on Lauglin Road is saturated with many small puddles, so maybe there will be birds in these ponds soon.
