[EBB Sightings] Good New Year's Day sightings at Richmond Marina

In and around the grassy islands west of the footbridge over Meeker Slough,
and south of trail bordering the condos, we saw:

Six snipe a-snooping,
One Eurasian widgeon wading,
Two rails retreating...

And on the bay trail, about a quarter mile south of foot bridge, on the berm
north of the spur trail that goes to the Richmond Field Station,

...two burrowing owls.

(No partridges and no pear trees sighted.)
