Driving north on Dougherty Road, north of Dublin Blvd
in Dublin, we saw an incredible number of raptors for
a small area. This area borders Camp Parks (army
base). First, about 200 yards or so south of Fall
Creek Road, on the east side of the street, we saw two
RED-TAILED HAWKS perched within inches of each other
in a tree next to another tree with a large
raptor-sized nest, presumably theirs. Going north
over the next mile, we saw two more solitary
red-tailed hawks and five solitary KESTRELS. That's a
total of four red-taileds and five kestrels within a
    one-mile stretch of road.

The nest seemed very visible and I definitely plan to
visit for photo purposes, shooting from my car on the
shoulder from a safe distance. I'll be sure to keep a
respectful distance and leave if I see them growing
wary of me. Others are urged to do the same
    naturally.
