Pardon the cross posting.  East Bay Regional Parks has a boat trip to =
Brooks Island on November 6.  See the information on their website

#10760.  This is one of the few times there is access to this important =
birding/nesting area for
people like me who don't have my own boat or kayak.  My only interest in =
this posting is I want to see Brooks Island and if there aren't enough
people registered the trip will be cancelled.
