Fox Sparrows may have moved in with the storm.
I have had a single Sooty Fox Sparrow since November with a second Sooty
appearing on and off again.
Yesterday Saturday I had four Sooty Fox Sparrows in the yard from early
sun to dusk.
I am hoping to see if they'll be here this morning again.
Also I had many more than normal Golden Crowns Sparrows for the past two
weeks.
Keep those feeder filled to the top.

Well, that change has come on 2 January 2005 with the arrival of a
single "Sooty" Fox Sparrow on 2 January 2005. The "Sooty" Fox Sparrow
here yesterday 7 January 2005 and this morning 8 January 2005 I assume
to be likely the same bird.
What's next?
