Hi all,

Had the good fortune to see a bumblebee zip onto a branch and turn into a female Allen's Hummingbird this afternoon. She made several forays returning with little bits of this and that. Mostly that.

I'd spent 30 minutes yesterday at Head Royce's parking lot waiting for a male to settle on a perch somewhere... no such luck. Today's sighting was total luck.
