Today I made stops in Alameda County looking for the Gray Flycatcher and
    Palm Warbler.

The Gray Flycatcher I saw almost after getting out of the car! Bob Lewis
had apparently found it earlier and it was working its way along the
trail/road back towards Malcolm Rd. Several people enjoyed it until it was
chased off by a dog. When I left about 11am it had not been refound. There
were also White-throated Swifts, Western Bluebirds, Northern Flickers, many
    Yellow-rumped Warblers, etc.

Later in the afternoon, my dad and I looked for the Palm Warbler (which I
had tried for 2 or 3x before) at Jack London Square. Finally found it in the
pines behind the D'Anna Yacht Center and got some too-little-light photos of
it eating on the rocks by the shore below the gray building on the water
with blue trim. (I think it is gray but it does have blue trim)-- between
    D'Anna and Fox.

The Christmas birding god was generous today and the weather was
    magnificent!

    Happy holidays,
