    On Monday, 12/14/09, on the Marilyn Kane trail, I spotted 5 species of woodpecker:
    acorn
    downy
    red-shafted flicker
    Nuttal's
    red-breasted (a quick look; I'm pretty sure of this).
    Among the others:
    Say's phoebe
    black phoebe
    white-breasted nuthatch
    oak titmouse
    white crowned sparrow
    golden-crowned  "
    Oregon junco
    Townsend warbler
    yellow-rumped warbler
    chestnut-backed chickadee
    ruby-crowned kinglet (?)
    red-tailed hawk (perched & flying; 1 was dark-morph)
    moruning dove
    crow
    house finch
    European starling
    American robin
    red-winged black bird
    Brewer's     "
    Anna's hummingbird
    turkey vulture.
