[EBB Sightings] More Shadow Cliffs - 12/5/09

I birded at Shadow Cliffs RP for several hours  today.  Birds of note were 
a COMMON LOON on the main lake, and the HOODED  MERGANSER pair, reported by 
Steve yesterday, on the small un-named pond, south  of the levee trail 
between the Arroyo and Island Pond.  Several species of  wintering ducks, incl. 
Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye, Nor. Shoveler, Canvasback,  and Ring-necked 
Duck were also seen.  In all, I saw a total of 52  species.
