It was a beautiful fall day on Patterson Pass Rd. this morning.

    Notables include:
Several each Golden Eagles, Ferruginous Hawks, and Red-tail Hawks. Good
    looks at
perched birds in the power towers adjacent to Midway Rd. near the Patterson
    Pass intersection.

25 L-B Curlews foraging in the dry grass near the railroad viaduct on the
    east side of the summit.

30+ Mtn. Bluebirds alongside the road starting about 3/4 mile east of the
summit and continuing east for another 1/2 mile or so.

    Several Lark Sparrows

    along with the usual suspects.
