I saw a Eurasia Wigeon male at the Albany Bulb today. Seen at 1:30 PM
about 100 yards from the second wooden observation platform on
Buchannan St. (just after going under the freeway). I saw him in a
small pond left by the receding tide ( high tide was 10:40 AM), hanging
out with a few American Wigeon and green-winged teal.

I also saw 2 Burrowing Owls at Cesar Chavez Park in the Berkeley Marina.
They were behind the temporary winter season red plastic fence on the
Northeast corner. According to a sign, they are there from Oct to
April. Also, the park has cleared out most of the bushes in that area
so the owls are very easy to see.

FOS for me buffleheads and Scaup were also seen from the Marina.
