[EBB Sightings] Mrs. Redhead is back!

Saw the female Redhead this afternoon by the nature center at Lake 
Merritt, apparently hanging with a Canvasback drake - though that could 
have been coincidence of interests. The Ring-necked Duck was in the area 
too.

While unsuccessfully searching the brush beside the second island for 
the hybrid hoodie-goldeneye - the last of the regulars to arrive, 
assuming he's coming this year - I saw what looked a lot like a female 
Hooded Merganser. The light was bad and my binocs weren't quite up to 
the job, but the silhouette looked promising.
