Thought I would try for the Palm Warbler that has been by the D'Anna Yacht Sales.? It is still there and I studdied it for 30 min.? I made several observations. It primarily foraged on the ground, pumped it's tail continuously and was very territorial.? Any time a Yellow Rumped attempted to come within 50 ft of the 3 pines left of the flag pole it would give chase and persue for maybe 200 ft.? The bird still had some russet to the crown, whitish chin, lightly streaked breast and flanks with some yellowish cast and bright yellow undertail coverts.? The dark eye line and whitish supercillium were the first thing I noticed from a distance and the upper body was brownish, not grey as with a Yellow Rumped.? Very satisfying and my first Palm in California. Good birding all.
