I spent the morning unsuccessfully looking for the recently sighted Peregrine Falcon near the visitor's kiosk at Coyote Hills. I did get to see several Red-tails, a couple White-tailed Kites, and of-course the American Krestel. My surprise of the day happened as I approached the Main March heading north on the Chochenyo Trail when a Sharp-shinned Hawk jumped out of nowhere and flew right in front of me, allowing for a great look.

I also saw a Myrtle Yellow-Rumped Warbler and Hutton Vireo along the Chochenyo as well along with the usual resident suspects, sparrows, phobes, jays, crows, etc.
