Yesterday afternoon I spent a couple of hours birding this trail from Santa Rita Rd. in Pleasanton out to near El Charro Rd. in Livermore. Highlights among the 25 species seen were two adult Black-crowned Night-Herons and a flyover of approximately 70 Canada Geese.
