This morning I only found 14 Killdeers on the north ball fields. They are
currently closed for rejuvenation and the Killdeer and Canada Geese are
    enjoying the serenity.

Also at the north fields, there is an oak tree inside a large concrete
planter between the two fields closest to Ygnacio Valley Road. This tree
was dripping with birds this morning. I think there were at least 6, and
possibly 8, Yellow-rumped Warblers popping around and chipping loudly. Also
present here were an Oregon Junco, at least one Chestnut-backed Chickadee,
an Oak Titmouse and a small flock of House Finches.

At the south end of the Equestrian Center I saw and then heard a male
Red-shafted Flicker. Another was west of the creek along the Contra Costa
Canal bike trail. A Yellow Warbler was on the east side of the creek in the
small oaks just north of the bike trail.

The last three times I checked, there has been a Red-tailed Hawk sitting on
the power pole in the middle of the field adjacent to the 7 Hills School.
This is on the private Hale property, otherwise known as the 7 Hills Ranch.

There has also been a Red-shouldered Hawk active in the morning around the
    large, mostly-natural pond.
