On Doolittle Pond yesterday I had FOS of Buffleheads (15), Ruddy Ducks (10), and an odd one...a female Hooded Merganser:

Also present, Scaups. 

All were in a raft, loafing or diving for food.  This is a favorite sheltered spot for these birds over winter and very large rafts will eventually fill the pond.

Doolittle Pond is part of the MLK Shoreline (south).
