    Hi, all.
I forgot that the Blake House gardens (in Kensington) closed so early (4:30), so only had a little bit of time there. I stuck around for a while in the parking area & monastery driveway, though, and saw or heard the following:
    Hermit thrush (FOS for me)
    Townsend's warbler (FOS)
    American crow
    Common raven
    Steller's jay
    American robin
    California towhee
    Chestnut-backed chickadee
    Oregon junco
Northern flicker (red-shaftsquite evident while perching)
Red-breasted sapsucker (? only a very quick glimpse, but seems best ID)
    Red-breasted nuthatch.
Earlier in the day I was somewhat surprised to see an immature northern harrier circling its way eastward over the our house in the north Oakland.flats.
    Peace,
    Alan Howe
