    Hi birders,

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon in and around the butterfly
garden at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont. FOS birds included
    White-crowned (several), Fox (1), and Lincoln's (2?) Sparrows, and a single
Yellow-rumped Warbler. Other birds of note were Pacific-slope Flycatcher, Western
Wood-Pewee, Wilson's and Yellow Warbler, and a very entertaining Warbling
Vireo who was kind of "dive-bombing" into the central fountain to bathe. I
didn't hike out into the marshes, but from the visitors' center I could see a
huge number of Black-necked Stilts w/various other species (ducks and
waders) in the water east of the boardwalk.

    Good birding,
    Kathy Robertson
