[EBB Sightings] East bay shoreline Oakland to Hayward

Seeing the previous post by the Ohlone Audubon group reminded me that my post hadn't come through so I went back and took out the html formatting:

Jim Chiropolos and I biked from Lake Merritt to Hayward shoreline Saturday morning in hot, windless weather. ? Highlights were a Spotted Sandpiper seen from the MLK Shoreline boardwalk, 2 Ruddy Turnstones along the pilings by the Oro Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant, 25 Red Knots and a handful of Red-necked Phalaropes south of the Radio Tower Hills and a Snowy Plover near the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center.? We were also surprised at the number of locations where we saw Semipalmated Plovers.
