[EBB Sightings] American White Pelicans, Lake Merritt, Oakland

There were 11 American White Pelicans in Lake Merritt in Oakland this morning, on the Lakeshore Ave. side, near the intersection with Hanover.  I'm guessing (hoping) that there haven't been that many releases from rehab, and at least some of them are wild birds that got there under their own power.  If so, they are the first countable white pelicans in Oakland for me.
